First Communion (First Holy Communion) is an important event in a child’s life and a time of celebration with family and friends. Preparations will usually have been going on for months for this formal occasion where the child receives sacrament of the Eucharist (Holy Communion) for the first time. Celebrations afterwards very often include a sit down meal and they almost always include cake. Fiona understands the importance of getting the right cake to suit the occasion and has provided several custom made cakes which are tastefully decorated to reflect each individual celebration. Choice of colours, flavours and designs are available and can be customised to suit.
With the crucifixion being the main part of the Eucharist in partaking the body and blood of Christ, this is often symbolised with a cross design being placed at some part of each cake. The Bible cake on the left shows the cross with the name of the first communicant being shown on the right. Here on the left is a 1st Holy Communion Cake with icing wrapped into a cross shape. To get a quote / place an order contact us quoting christening 30 and we will get back to you.
