If you have been following the progress on Facebook on the right hand side here, you will have seen all the activity with new cake designs being made regularly. The next Wedding Fayre will be at the Radstone Hotel (formerly Shawlands Park Hotel), Larkhall on Sunday 9th November from 12pm to 4pm. Find everything you need for the perfect wedding under one roof, and enjoy complimentary canape and glass of sparkling wine. Entry is free of charge, come and meet Fiona to see a selection new and popular wedding cakes and discuss your requirements.
Coming up on 5th October – wedding show at The Hilton Grosvenor Hotel in Glasgow, 1-9 Grosvenor Terrace, Glasgow, G12 0TA. Fiona will be showcasing her new designer cakes and some old favourites. This months cake of the month is the “Demi” cake which comes with 10% off when ordered during October. (does not apply to fruit or chocolate cakes). This discount ends at midnight on the 31st of October 2014. The Hilton Grosvenor is a well established hotel in Glasgow with various options to suit every taste. Fiona is delighted exhibiting here especially with the free entry.
The Crompton cake is a new take on the Kidman cake with a square base and pearls in each daisy instead of diamontees. This 3 tier cake is topped with a styrofoam ball tastefully decorated with the daisies and pearls. The middle tier is surrounded by edible flowers with intermittent pearls. Fiona has been baking custom made cakes for several years and throughout that time one cake has proved most popular with brides-to-be and their soon-to-be husbands. Known as the Kidman Cake which uses hand-cut daisies with diamontees and a removable top ball. This can be either 3 or 4 tiers as required with hand-cut daisies which are edible on the actual layers with intermittent diamontees.
